About this Event
Kick off the holidays with a neighborhood Christmas decorating party in the center of Old Takoma! There will be classic Christmas music playing, apple cider and donuts to taste, and lots of wreaths to hang and trees to decorate.
The Takoma Park Seventh-day Adventist Church is an iconic building dating back to 1951. If you live in the area, you've probably passed it a thousand times on your way to the Sunday farmer's market or one of the many restaurants nearby. The Hanging of the Greens is your chance to see it from the inside and get to know more of your neighbors while helping decorate it for the season.
All are invited regardless of religious affiliation.
Families with children welcome.
