About this Event
This free, in-person event From 1:00–4:00 PM, the library will host a Lunar New Year celebration featuring live music, cultural performances, demonstrations, and a festive dragon dance. As part of this larger community celebration, a special Hanfu Live Drawing session will take place inside the library.
Presented in collaboration with Asian Heritage Foundation, this live drawing session invites visitors to observe and participate in a relaxed, open drawing experience featuring a model dressed in Hanfu, traditional Chinese clothing. Whether you are an experienced artist or picking up a pencil for the first time, you are welcome to join, draw, or simply watch and enjoy the atmosphere.
All drawing supplies will be provided, and the session is kid-friendly and beginner-friendly. Participants are free to come and go throughout the event, making it easy to drop in at any time.
