Creative hand Stitched Rope BowlJUNE 13th 2026
Time: 10am - 3pm
During this 5 hour class you will be guided by Andrea, who designed this workshop in 2021 as an alternative to her machine stitched class.
Andrea will take you through the stages of making to create your unique rope bowl and give you the skills and knowledge to make more at home.
You will use scraps off fabric, thread's and hand stitching to create a 3D shape using cotton rope. You will have a choice of how to finish your rope bowl and personalise your work through colour selection.
Tutor will Bring:
Included in this class will be all materials and resources to complete your work.
You will need to bring:
*(Optional) If you have any leftover fabric from previous projects or wish to recycle/repurpose and shirt or other garment then bring it with you but for ease of use in the class please only bring cotton or poly cotton fabric.
*A pair of scissors that will cut fabric.
*A thimble if you have one.
*If you have some embroidery threads that you would like to use up then please bring those too.
This class is suitable for beginners who would like to try something a bit different!
