Handspring improving Workshop, Wednesday 29th July, 1:30pm-3:00pm

This session is for anyone working towards improving their Handsprings. Minimum requirement of a backhandspring on the floor. Ages 5-16.
About this Event

This session is suitable for athletes aged 5-16 working towards or improving their handsprings, minimum requirements of a backhandspring on the floor. This session is open to new and current Brave members. This session has Show & Tell, meaning you are able to come in 10 minutes before the session ends to see what they have been working on during the session.

We will open the door at the start time of the event and let you in 10 minutes before the end for you to see what they have been working on. Please note, once you are checked into this session and come into the gym, there is no front of house open during this time for guests/parents to wait.

For athletes who are currently part of another competitive cheerleading programme in the UK, please email [email protected] for guidance before booking.

We ask that you bring water in a named bottle, all jewellery is removed or taped up, hair is out of the face in a style that will last the duration of the session, you wear comfortable, sporting clothes along with bare feet or cheer shoes. Brave apparel can be bought from our on site pro shop, but neither the apparel or cheer shoes are compulsory. Our 'Cheer Shoe Recommendation' document can be found on the homepage of our website. We recommend outdoor shoes that can be slipped on and off rather than lace up shoes to avoid congestion. Please note, apparel from other UK Cheerleading programmes is not permitted to be worn. Please be in Brave apparel or generic sports clothing.

Please ensure ALL items brought to Brave are clearly named, any lost property that is not named is disposed of at the end of each night.

Due to the positive and relaxed culture at Brave, we implement a closed session policy. We find this helps participants to feel at ease and confident to step outside their comfort zone to progress. If you require any feedback on your child's progress or have any questions please speak to the person on the front desk.

Please use the parking bays provided to the side and back of the premises, depending on the time of day there may also be roadside parking. Please avoid parking in the neighbouring businesses spaces whilst they are open.
