Join me for The Darjeeling Limited — a special movie night fundraiser supporting Hands On India.
My name is Estella and I am a chiropractor located in Hawkes Bay.
In January 2026, I’ll be travelling to India for two weeks with Hands On India. This volunteer-run not-for-profit empowers women and children in rural West Bengal through education, healthcare, and community support. This mission is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to practise my profession with true purpose, helping women and children create healthier, stronger futures.
What to expect:
Come along for a screening of The Darjeeling Limited — a beautiful, offbeat film set in India — and enjoy an evening of connection, meaning, and fun, while supporting a great cause.
Your ticket includes entry to the film plus your choice of an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage.
Food will also be available to purchase on the night (from Cineverse), and we’ll have a raffle with some great prizes up for grabs.
Where your support goes:
- $20 helps a woman join a self-help group for a year
- $70 covers a child’s primary education for a year
- $500 maintains a school for an entire year
- $2,000 funds a village health clinic for 12 months
Nearly 99% of all funds raised go directly to these communities, as Hands On India is entirely volunteer-run.
Your ticket isn’t just for a movie — it’s a contribution to empowerment, education, and lasting change.
