About this Event
From handwritten letters on the frontier to treasured family documents, paper has preserved the voices of generations. Visit us for a hands-on papermaking activity where we’ll explore the art and science of traditional paper making. During this interactive experience, you’ll learn how early Texans transformed simple fibers into beautiful, functional sheets by hand. Then, create your own custom paper to take home!
This event is free with regular admission. ($1-$5) Advance registration is NOT required.
Limited free parking is available directly across from museum entrance and alongside the museum on W. Nueva Street. There are also a number of paid parking lots and garages within walking distance. Please visit our website for more information.
