About this Event
How did people do everyday tasks without modern technology in colonial times? The Hands-on History Day Camp offers an opportunity for children entering grades 3-5 to delve into that history in an interactive way. This full day experience, led by Museum Educators, will demonstrate the history of how people in the 1700s created items for everyday use and took care of their homes. Students will practice techniques such as candle making and soap making, and go home with materials to continue the fun.
