Join us for a fun, hands-on class where you’ll learn how to make soft, flexible gluten-free tortillas and a rich, bakery-style gluten-free chocolate cake. Along the way, we’ll cover the “why” behind gluten-free ingredients so you can confidently adapt your favorite recipes—whether you’re baking for allergies, preferences, or simply want better results from scratch.
You’ll also learn how to scale recipes down for single servings—perfect for weeknights, small households, or testing new ideas without waste.
What you will learn:
Techniques for mixing, shaping, and cooking gluten-free tortillas (including tips for softness, bendability, and storing), plus how to build a moist, tender chocolate cake with great structure and flavor. We’ll discuss how to create your own DIY baking mixes, and how to scale recipes for small-batch and single-serving baking—without sacrificing texture.
Included in class:
Participants will be making gluten-free tortillas and a gluten-free chocolate cake. You’ll also leave with guidance for converting recipes into mixes and single-serving versions you can use at home.
