Join us for another Freo Permies Blitz Day at Veronika and Richard's place in White Gum Valley.Blitz Days are all about learning practical permaculture skills, sharing knowledge, meeting great people, and helping transform a garden through many hands working together. Whether you're completely new to permaculture or have years of experience, you're very welcome.
What we'll be working on
Participants will have the opportunity to get involved in two projects:
• Moving and planting vegetable beds inspired by Hügelkultur principles
• Learning how to make productive use of front gardens, verges, and other marginal spaces
Experienced project leads will guide each activity, making this a great opportunity to learn by doing.
Event Details
Start: 8:30 am
Finish: After lunch and socialising, approximately 2:00 pm
Cost: Free
Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea provided by the host
What to bring
Please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and bring:
Gardening gloves
Water bottle
Sun protection
Plenty of enthusiasm
If possible, please also bring useful tools such as:
Shovels
Wheelbarrows
Mulch forks
Registration Required
Places are limited, so registration is essential.
Families are welcome. Please register the number of adults attending from your family. Children are welcome and do not need to be individually registered.
To respect the hosts' privacy, the exact address will only be provided to registered participants.
Please note that the host and project leads do not need to register.
