This hands-on workshop guides you through making a complete garment from start to finish. You’ll learn how to measure, cut, and sew a skirt, bonnet, or sweater while building foundational construction skills and confidence using beginner-friendly techniques.

What You’ll Learn in The Maker: Clothes Making Workshop
Garment Construction Basics
You’ll learn how garments are built from start to finish, including how pieces come together to form a wearable skirt, bonnet, or sweater.
Measuring & Preparing Fabric
We’ll cover how to take basic measurements, prepare fabric, and plan your project before cutting to ensure accurate results.
Cutting & Sewing Techniques
You’ll practice cutting fabric correctly and sewing seams using beginner-friendly methods for clean, functional construction.
Assembling a Finished Garment
You’ll learn how to assemble your chosen garment step by step, building confidence as your project takes shape.
Finishing & Wearability
We’ll focus on finishing techniques that improve comfort, durability, and overall appearance so your piece is ready to wear.
