Hands Across The World 2026

On May 25, 1986 there was an event called Hands Across America which was a chain of people that held hands from California to New York as a sign of standing in unity and peace across the country to raise awareness and money for hunger and unsheltered population.

A Walk For Peace also took place from October 26, 2025- February 10, 2026. This is when 24 venerable monks- walked 2,300 miles from Texas to Washington, DC, as a symbol of us being ONE in peace. Hands Across The World will honor the monks—their vulnerability, their walk, and the path they made possible for us to continue.

This is a call to action: Let’s move forward the first link that united a nation by becoming the next one—connecting across the world.
