Join Halwa for a dance-infused yoga workshop, meditation and sound bath, all accompanied by the sounds of the handpan!
What to expect:
Hatha Yoga Infused with Dance Elements (1 hour):
In the first part of our workshop, we'll dive into the ancient practice of Hatha Yoga, enriched with elements of dance. Through a series of gentle yet invigorating asanas, pranayama, and fluid movements inspired by dance, we will reconnect with our bodies, cultivating strength, flexibility, and grace.
Meditation with Handpan Accompaniment (30 minutes):
As we transition into the second part of our session, we'll ease into a state of deep relaxation and inner stillness through meditation. The soothing melodies of the Handpan will serve as our guide, creating a harmonious atmosphere that facilitates mindfulness and inner peace. Allow yourself to be carried away by the enchanting sounds as you delve into the depths of your being.
Guided Relaxation and Sound Bath (30 minutes):
In the final segment of our workshop, we'll embark on a guided journey of relaxation and sound immersion. As you recline in a comfortable position, I'll lead you through a series of guided visualizations and relaxation techniques designed to release tension, promote healing, and restore balance to mind, body, and spirit. The ethereal vibrations of the Handpan will envelop you in a cocoon of sound, allowing you to surrender to a state of profound serenity and inner harmony.
About Halwa:
Marta D’Ippolito started dancing at the age of seven, and after years of sacrifices and dedication managed to graduate at the prestigious Akademie des Tanzes in Mannheim. After a few years of professional experience she decided to deepen her practice of Yoga, becoming an instructor at the beginning of 2024.
Federico Scano is a mechanical engineer who decided to dedicate his life to music and Handpan. He attended many workshops and retreats and he currently accompanies Marta’s Yoga sessions and teaches Handpan techniques.
