While we have patroned Peoria Pride for years as individuals or for our own small businesses, this is our first year representing the Handmaid Army at this important event! We would love for any Handmaids (or Watch Flowers!) to come help us out!
Our nametags at the last No Kings were a hit, to say the least. Instead of Of(insert husband's name....barf).....we made hundreds of "OfHerself/OfThemself/OfHimself/OfRage/OfMyself/OfAnimal/etc" nametags. We also had blank ones for people to fill out with their own ideas! We will have a station at our table for people to choose their own pre-made nametag, or fill one out on the blank ones available. I think having someone there to explain, and offer assistance in any way would be great!
We will also have some goodies to pass out (friendship bracelets, post it notes, etc) but may be selling a few things to earn $ for our own expenses and then to also help fund our mutual aid projects with whatever is left. If you are the "goodies" person - then you get to help with all of our goodies! Easy peasy and people looooove them some goodies at Pride :)
