About this Event
In this 2-hour workshop lead by artist Matilde Melodia, you will create your own handmade sketchbook using paper, thread, and simple binding techniques that you can later replicate at home and pass on. We’ll work with basic materials, including found paper, and magazines, and you’re welcome to bring materials you already have lying around.
The journal becomes more than an object — it becomes a space. A place to hold reflections, thoughts, feelings, worries, and hopes through drawing, writing, collage, and mark-making. The messier the better!
You’ll begin working in your journal during the workshop and leave with a book to continue filling in your daily life.
No prior experience needed — just curiosity.
