The Museum Trustees have granted rare permission for Alex to open up the display cabinets and choose his favourite artefacts to share with you to handle and an opportunity to inspect close-up (with gloves on of course!!)
At each event there will be a variety of relevant artefacts which Alex will talk about and explain their significance. Aside from weapons there will be medals, maps and personal equipment (plus some quirky gems!)
These special events will also include artefacts that are not on general display and there will be plenty of time to ask questions and open up lively discussion on the various topics.
Handling Living History with Alex Pitts is just £32 entry which includes the talk, refreshments and access to the museum for the day. This is an amazing and rare opportunity to get up close and handle living history!
Entry is strictly limited to 15 places so to purchase your advance tickets please either drop by the museum or contact the museum via telephone or email.
