In this 4-week class, we will go through the steps of introducing AKC Handler Discrimination and NASDA Lost Item Recovery. By the end of class, dogs should be able to complete an AKC Novice handler discrimination search, in which the dog will locate the target scent of its handler within 10 identical boxes. As well as be on their way to searching and locating lost items inside and outside a building. Class may travel to nearby locations (parks, stores, etc.), dependent on the progression/skill level of the dog.
