Cheltenham Bach Choir present two musical masters of the baroque period with some of their most popular works. Handel’s Dixit Dominus - a masterpiece from the precocious twenty year old composer - is performed alongside Antonio Vivaldi’s blissful Gloria to form a stunning programme to lift the spirits and inspire joy.The choir, under the baton of David Crown, will be accompanied by the Regency Sinfonia and joined by two rising star soloists, Hannah Hughes and Siân Griffiths, in what promises to be an evening of highlights that will conclude with two of Handel's Coronation Anthems - The King Shall Rejoice, and Zadok the Priest.
