Handcrafts and Hardbacks Independent Bookstore Day Pop-up

Independent Bookstore Day (Indie Bookstore Day) was established in 2013 to promote, celebrate, and highlight the value of the Independent bookstore community. The day has been observed on the last Saturday of April every year since 2013. This year there are over 1,600 stores participating across the country.

We will have exclusive items for sale and as giveaways, from specialized tote bags, to stickers and exclusive books. There will be raffle prizes, games and activities such as bookstore bingo, bookmark decorating, and a hidden golden ticket for 12 free audiobooks from libro.fm

We'll have a storytime hour for kids, a ticketed book bedazzling class, and a ticketed junk annotating class. The classes will include all supplies, bring your own book, or come early and purchase one from our pop-up.

Bring Your Own Book (B.Y.O.B.): Grab that well-loved paperback or a sturdy hardcover you’re ready to glam up.
Need a Book? No problem! Explore our curated pop-up bookstore on-site and purchase a new title to bedazzle (available for an additional cost).
We Provide the Sparkle: Your ticket includes a personal Bedazzling Kit (complete with gems, glue, tools, and more) and easy-to-follow instructions from our craft guide.
