Handcrafted Holidays: Ceramic Ornament Workshop with Erica Lores

Join us at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden for a holiday ceramics workshop led by Miami artist Erica Lores from . You'll have the chance to get creative and make 3-5 ornaments to decorate your tree with or hang as decorations!

We invite you to connect with your inner artist as you hand-build using stoneware clay. You will be guided step-by-step and learn a few essential techniques for working with clay. After you have sculpted your form, you will have the opportunity to paint and decorate it to make it unique.

All levels and ages are welcome! No experience necessary. Kids under 6 are welcome to participate and share clay with their parent/guardian.

Class includes:

• All materials, firing, and glazing of 3-5 pieces per person.
• All pieces will be glazed with a clear glaze and fired by Erica in her studio. Your creations will be available for pick up at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden 1-2 weeks after the event—you will be notified via email.
