Hand Sewing Class: Apple Core Patchwork

Join us at Patmos Library for a hands-on introduction to hand sewing and quilting! In this two-hour class, you’ll learn how to create the beautiful and classic apple core patchwork pattern while building foundational quilting skills.
All materials are provided in a take-home kit—just bring your enthusiasm and creativity. This class is perfect for beginners as well as anyone looking to refresh their hand-sewing skills.
The workshop will be led by Monica Johnstone, PhD, recipient of the Award of Merit from the National Association of Certified Quilt Judges. Her quilts have been exhibited internationally in museums, galleries, quilt shows, and libraries across five countries.
