The current trend towards hand tool usage most certainly would include Hand Planes. Our instructor has a very keen interest in hand planes and would love to pass their enthusiasm and knowledge along. You will learn how to disassemble, clean, tune-up, sharpen, reassemble, adjust, and properly use your hand plane. If you would like to get more use out of a hand plane that's been just sitting in your shop, then this is the class for you. If you own one hand plane that could use some TLC, bring it to class and you can follow along.
Prerequisites: None
Tools Each student is responsible for supplying their own eye protection, pen and/or pencil, note pad, closed toe shoes, and one hand plane.
