Hand-Built Planter Workshop — Instructed by Torie with Queen of CupsJoin us for a guided ceramic workshop where you’ll learn the art of hand-built planters in a relaxed and supportive environment. In this class, participants will explore two foundational hand-building techniques to create a custom planter from clay.
This workshop is open to all skill levels. We’ll cover essential clay-working methods, form-building, and surface design, allowing you to personalize your piece from start to finish. After the session, all work will be professionally fired and glazed by Torie, resulting in a finished planter ready for your favorite plant.
Participants will also have time to create additional pieces using the techniques introduced in class!
Your ticket includes all materials, glazing, and firings required to complete your work.
Whether you’re new to ceramics or looking to expand your skills, this workshop offers a welcoming space to learn and create!
Workshop Details
Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled
Firing & Pickup: Finished pieces will be glazed and fired after class and ready for pickup within approximately 4 weeks. Torie will text you when your work is ready and your pieces can be picked up here at Life is Succulent
