HANAMI AT HAKONE NIGHT VIEWING 2026

Experience Hakone after sunset during our Cherry Blossom Night Viewing. For a limited time, the garden will open in the evening so visitors can enjoy the beauty of illuminated sakura in a peaceful nighttime setting. Stroll through the garden pathways, enjoy the reflections of cherry blossoms on the pond, and experience one of Hakone’s most beloved spring traditions.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES TO OUR 2026 NIGHT VIEWING EVENT:

• HAKONE MEMBERS: Members do not require a ticket, and may come to Night Viewing once a night for as many nights as they like. Entrance is on a first come, first serve basis.
• PEAK HOURS: Due to the limited amount of parking spaces during peak hours, Adult and Senior ticket pricing has increased $3 from 7:15pm - 8:15pm. We hope this change will allow guests to better enjoy the garden and help our limited staff control historic parking issues.

TIMED TICKETING:

All tickets are timed due to our limited parking availability. We welcome you to enjoy the garden as long as you like once you have entered, but all ticket holders must enter the garden within 15 minutes of their ticket time. Entrance after this period is dependent on availability.

MEMBERS DO NOT NEED A TIMED TICKET. Members are welcome to come to the garden at any time on a first come, first served basis dependent on parking availability.

PARKING INFO:

Parking at Hakone is extremely limited during this popular event. We highly recommend carpooling or arranging a ride share when possible.

If you have a paid ticket and parking is full such that you are unable to enter the garden within 15 minutes after your ticket time, you are welcome to return on another Night Viewing evening.
