Hammond Live continues this spring with a free outdoor concert at Cate Square Park, bringing live music and community together in the heart of downtown.
This concert was originally scheduled for June 2025 but was canceled due to severe weather warnings. While the evening ultimately turned out to be beautiful, public safety comes first — and we are thrilled to finally welcome these performers back to Downtown Hammond.
The night begins at 5:30 PM with Callie Hines, whose soulful singer-songwriter sound sets the tone for the evening. At 6:30 PM, Josephine Alphonso & the Peachy Fiends take the stage, blending New Orleans–inspired rhythm and blues, funk, and Southern soul.
Bring a chair, invite your friends, and make a night of it downtown.
🍴 Downtown restaurants interested in vending food at this event must be located within the Downtown District.
