North by North is a dynamic Chicago-based two-piece indie/garage rock band featuring Nate Girard (guitar/vocals) and Kendra Blank (drums), known for their energetic live shows, '70s psychedelic-tinged power-pop, and extensive DIY touring across the US and Europe since 2011. They craft a big sound with syrupy hooks and roaring guitars, blending influences like psych-rock and pop-punk to create narrative-driven concept albums, building a devoted fanbase through relentless touring and self-management.
Hammerhedd is a Kansas City-based alternative metal band formed by three brothers, Henry (guitar/vocals), Eli (drums), and Abe Ismert (bass), who started playing in 2012 as young children, gaining viral fame for their talent and performances, evolving from thrash metal towards a broader rock/progressive sound, and releasing several albums like Grand Currents (2021) and Nonetheless (2023) while touring with major metal acts.
