Come meet Hamilton County Law Enforcement Officers and refine your fishing skills during the Annual Cops N’ Bobbers fishing derby Saturday, June 6th at Briggs Woods Park, Small Beach Shelter, 2501 Briggs Woods Road, Webster City, IA. This family event is FREE to the public. Iowa residents do not need a fishing license as Cops N’ Bobbers fishing derby is held during the Iowa DNR FREE fishing weekend (June 5-7TH, 2026). Ages 3-15 years old can participate.
Registration starts at 8:30 am at the Briggs Woods Beach Area. Participants must register! Fishing will be from 9 am – 11 am.
Prizes for the largest fish caught, smallest fish caught, most fish caught, most unique thing caught during the derby will be given out at the end of the event thanks to our local sponsors. Each participant will go home with a prize.
