Hamburger Heaven is the new film from Missouri filmmaker and illustrator Alexander Isgriggs. This 23-minute short is a dark comedy road movie about the dissolution of a friendship over an ill-fated, midnight burger run. Shot back in 2018, the project has long been simmering… until now!
After intercepting a mysterious tv ad, two twenty-something friends, Mac and Walter, hit the road in search of the mythic Hamburger Heaven. Their trip begins innocuously enough after they secure another buddy, Trevor, as their ride. The journey quickly goes off the rails as they are distanced from civilization and each other, and their codependent relationship is pushed to the extreme.
