Learn the differences between presentation for Halter and Showmanship, and what judges are looking for. We will cover how to set your horse up for success in the halter classes, as well as the art of a showmanship class. In the showmanship portion, the scoring, maneuvers, and penalties of the showmanship class will be discussed, and we will run a simple pattern to learn the importance of pattern precision and presentation.
In Hand Obstacle- We will learn about common obstacles seen in an in-hand trail course, how to prepare and maneuver through obstacles, and penalties that are assessed during a trail course.
