The much anticipated Halloween Palm Springs will be returning to the Arenas District in Palm Springs Sunday, October 27 with the annual T-Dance from 4:00-6:00PM and Live Performances from 6:00-10:00p.m.After her critically acclaimed debut, Thelma Houston signed with Motown Records. Always a path breaker, at Motown, she claimed the top of the pop, R&B, and dance charts with her signature rendition of "Don't Leave Me This Way." This Gold Record classic gave Houston the distinction of being the first solo female artist at Motown to win the GRAMMY Award for "Best R&B Female Vocal Performance."
Recent shows include CBS's Motown 60: A GRAMMY Celebration. Houston’s performance brought down the house. She also recently performed on the BET special DJ Cassidy's Pass the Mic. During Black History Month in February, she was honored by the 2022 City of Los Angeles African American Heritage Month Program as a Living Legend—which she truly is.
May of 2024 finds Ms. Houston making it all the way into the Semi Finals of Fox’s “The Masked Singer” TV show.
Thea Austin, International Pop and Dance singer formerly of SNAP! fits many categories: sultry diva, powerful vocalist, producer, lyricist, stunning beauty and international performer. Yet her music defies categorization and crosses all boundaries.
As the lead singer of Snap she took the world by storm with her first single, "Colour of Love" (Composed by Thea) soared into the Top Ten across Europe and reestablished Snap as a force to be reckoned with.
The second single the Thea composed was the iconic Pop, Dance hit called "Rhythm Is A Dancer". The song instantly took a firm grasp on the number one position on numerous charts ALL around the world.
A Hocker Productions Event, Halloween Palm Springs is FREE with a suggestion donation of $10 being accepted at each of the entrances DAP Health, Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus, Greater Palm Springs Pride and LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert.

Both of them have been active in supporting LGBTQ+ non-profit organizations for decades as they are both passionate about giving back to the community,” Jeff Hocker, Executive Producer, Halloween Palm Springs.
Registration for the Costume Contest begins at 6:00p.m at the Information booth on Arenas Road and will end promptly at 7:30p.m. Registered participants must be in line with their wristband at the NEW runway stage, no later that 7:45p.m.
