Is your child aged 8-16 and eager to learn new skills? With spooky season just around the corner, we invite them to join our Halloween half-term sessions for an unforgettable experience in metalworking!Join us on the 26th or 30th October, each session is 50-minute session and offers a hands-on opportunity for your child to create their very own metal sculpture. They can choose from crafting a creepy pumpkin or a spooky spider.

Inspiring the futures engineers and metals artists, give your child the chance to explore their creativity whilst learning practical engineering skills. STEAM activities and learning engineering skills, enables your children to think more broadly whilst gaining a wide range of skills. Plus they can take home a unique, handmade piece of art this Halloween!
The groups will have a maximum of 4 children participants and 2 tutors. Each session lasts 50 minutes and we would prefer minimal parent/ guradians come to the workshop, there is a limited space upstairs to obsevre during the session.

Turn off Albert Road alongside the colourful venue Wake the Tiger. Follow this short road to the end, but turn right just before you go into the cement factory yard. Parking: We usually have enough spaces for vehicles in our yard, please park directly in front of our unit, not blocking either of our neighbour's access.
There is also free all-day parking at Avon Meads KFC, which is a seven-minute walk from the workshop.
Times:Please arrive only 10 minutes before your booked sesssion. The session will last 50 minutes.
Clothing: There is a selection of overalls available, but we cannot guarantee that we will have one in your size on the day. It’s important to wear sturdy footwear that protects your toes and covers your ankles. Jeans or thick trousers, long sleeved cotton tops (no fleece!) that can do up to protect your chest. Long hair needs to be tied back, and dangly jewellery needs to be removed.
