Halloween Campout at Echo Bay, Lake mead!
We have currently reserved 4 sites that can accommodate up to 8 vehicles, 16 tents and 32 people at the lower campground at Echo Bay. Come on out and just be yourselfβor not! Costumes, crazy outfits, your fav onesies, all are welcome!
Activities available in the area include kayaking, fishing, wildlife viewing (burros, foxes, coyotes, etc.), stargazing and hiking around the area or Valley of Fire, a 20 minute drive away. (Additional fees or State Park pass required for Valley of Fire).
JB will thro down some burgers and grilled chicken for dinner. Feel free to bring appetizers, sides, or desserts to share. Itβs always a feast at our camp outs as most of you already know.
It will cost $10-$20 per vehicle per night depending on whether you share a site (additional fees or park pass for Lake Mead National Recreation Area are required).
An accurate head count is necessary to ensure enough food, so we look forward to your RSVP with integrity. If a lot of people sign up, please consider carpooling in parties of 4, though additional sites may be available if needed.
Bring your own tents, sleeping bags and pads, Camp chairs, Kayaks or paddle boards, fishing gear, h Halloween playlists and SPIRITS (pun intended)!
There is a water spigot near the sites and toilets are available, but no showers, so you may want to bring body wipes as well. Extra firewood will also be appreciated. The sites we reserved have little to no shade, but there should be plenty of room for tents and pop-up shade structures.
Due to the allowance of alcohol and potentially colorful campfire stories, this one might not be suitable for kids. Please feel free to comment to discuss carpooling arrangements, food or questions.
