Get ready for a spooky evening of Halloween fun at Radford Park!
Don your scariest costume, carve your spookiest pumpkin face for a chance to win some exciting prizes!
Follow the pumpkin lantern-lit trail through the park to the haunted ruins, take part in Halloween-themed activities, and enjoy refreshments available for purchase.
The Bat Walk (Spaces Limited - Please reserve your space on checkout)
Join wildlife experts from Plymouth Natural Grid for a guided bat walk. Learn how to use bat detectors and discover Radford Park’s resident bats!
Pumpkin Carving and Costume Competition
Bring your carved pumpkin to light up the trail and show off your best homemade Halloween costume for a chance to win a prize! Judged by the Deputy Lord Mayor, prizes will be awarded for the most creative designs and costumes.

If you’re able, please choose the Family Ticket + Donation option at checkout. Every contribution goes directly to the Radford Park Community Project, helping us care for the park and put on more events like this for everyone to enjoy.
Light Refreshments
Halloween treats, food and drinks will be available to purchase at the Beckly Centre.

- 5:15 pm – Activities, and Prizes awarded by the Deputy Lord Mayor for the Best Pumpkin Lantern and Best Homemade Costume (£1.00 Entry)
- Follow the pumpkin lantern-lit trail through the park to the haunted ruins
- 6:00 pm – Guided Bat Walk in Radford Park (Book here on Eventbrite)
- Halloween Activities and Refreshments
- All monies raised go towards future events and the upkeep of Radford Park

*The route is uneven but mostly on level or slightly sloping paths which can be managed by most light wheelchairs and pushchairs.
**All walkers please take care, bring torches and bring appropriate footwear; children must be accompanied by an adult.
***Dogs are welcome on the bat walk but must stay outside the Beckly Centre in the courtyard.
