It’s SHOWTIME on Sunday, April 12th, as we celebrate the cinematic legacy of the late, great Catherine O’Hara with a 35mm screening of Tim Burton’s BEETLEJUICE (1988) and our annual Halfway To Halloween themed market, along with Trunk Or Treat for the kiddies and more spooky, kooky fun!Dig up your costumes and break out the buckets for a celebration of all things spooky! Decorate your cars and sling sweets to the kids, while perusing all things crazy, creepy, and cool while the sun slowly sets!
Then, join us in paying tribute to one of our favorite Canadian imports, the comedic genius Catherine O’Hara, who tickled our ribs on the small screen on SCTV and SCHITT’S CREEK, cracked us up on the big screen in HOME ALONE, BEST IN SHOW, A MIGHTY WIND and more, she kept us laughing for half a century, and will surely continue to entertain generations to come.
We celebrate Ms. O’Hara in grandly ghoulish style, with Michael Keaton as the ghost with the most in BEETLEJUICE, the cartoonishly bombastic horror comedy classic that reintroduced the world to “The Banana Boat Song” and teaches the valuable lesson, when your house is haunted, maybe calling another ghost in to fix things isn’t the best idea.
The film will be preceded by a short video tribute to Catherine O’Hara.
