What is the Firework 5K?
Meet at REMAX Field at 9pm and run/walk 5K through Edmonton's River Valley during sunset. We've saved the best part for last! - cross the finish line and set off the show! All ages and fitness levels welcome.
What is Half Decent Race Co.?
Spurred by the love of doing cool sh*t, we put on events where every dollar you spend goes right to hosting the activity. This is a nonprofit where the planners are not getting paid - it’s just for a love of the hustle. Our artists, venues, photographers set the entry fee. No event will be repeated… ever*, so live off the FOMO.
Cool things can happen when people come together. The day of the event you will get a refund of X amount of money so long as we are in the black. Maybe it’s $0.50 maybe it’s $20.00 - the more people show up the more of the refund. Last min sponsor comes in maybe the event is free. We won’t post exact fees for everyone single things only because our friends give us discounts and they can’t do that for everyone. There is a bit of trust here but we hope that you agree, like us, that people need to be paid for their hard work.
