Being Enough: Self-Compassion as a Path to Healing Our WorldIn this half-day retreat, Ofosu Jones-Quartey (Born I) invites participants into a spacious and accessible exploration of self-compassion as a lived spiritual practice. Through a balance of guided and silent meditation, periods of optional gentle movement, and a Dharma talk rooted in Buddhist teachings, we will explore how learning to rest in our inherent worth can become a foundation for personal healing and collective care.
Drawing reflections from his acclaimed book Lyrical Dharma, Ofosu weaves together contemplative practice, lived experience, and poetic insight to offer a retreat that meets participants exactly where they are, whether new to meditation or returning to practice.
This retreat is open to all and designed to support nervous system regulation, self-kindness, and a deeper sense of belonging in ourselves and in the world.
