About this Event

Join us for a half-day workshop where we learn somatic meditation and experience Circling to cultivate more honest, energetic, and fulfilling relationships.

Through guided meditation practices, mindfulness techniques, and somatic inquiries, we’ll journey into the depths of our consciousness to transform relationship dynamics and support personal growth.

Sacred Space

Over the course of these 4 hours, we’ll gently open a sacred space for deep connection—with ourselves and with one another. Whether you’re seeking to improve existing relationships or simply curious about the power of embodied practices, this session provides a safe and supportive space for exploration and growth.

This workshop is for you if you want to:

  • Heal and strengthen relationships
  • Build deeper, more authentic connections
  • Navigate the complexities of communication and intimacy with intention
  • Explore somatic education and therapy in a supportive, experiential setting

🗓 Agenda

  • Introduction to Consciousness Maps
  • Guided Somatic Meditation
  • Lower Self Inquiry
  • Higher Self Inquiry
  • Circling

Let’s embark on a journey to heal, grow, and thrive together!

What is Somatic Meditation?

Somatic Meditation, rooted in ancient traditions and modern body-based practices, invites participants to discover their authentic selves by attuning to the wisdom of the body. Through gentle awareness and internal inquiry, practitioners learn to access their essence and ground themselves in embodied presence. Practiced in a group, this work takes on an even deeper dimension—the shared field of attention and the energy of sacred space amplifies each person’s experience, creating ripples of connection and transformation that extend beyond the circle.

What is Circling?

Circling is a relational meditation in which participants share their authentic present-moment experience while in connection with each other. Sometimes we think of it as an “inverse meditation,” where, instead of sitting in silence, participants actively reveal their experiences to others. As each participant brings their attention to the present moment and reveals their experience in relation to the Circle, awareness of a unique and ever-shifting relational field is experienced.

Interested but mindful of your budget?

Our vision is to nurture authentic community and meaningful connection, and we believe finances should never stand in the way of that. If you feel called to join but the cost doesn't align with your budget, we offer a sliding scale to make participation accessible. Reach out and let us know what would work for you!

Facilitators

Jason (Jase) Chau

Jason (Jase) Chau was born in a small northern town in Canada. The son of war refugees, he endured deep isolation and frequent suicidal ideation throughout his teenage years and much of his twenties. This pervasive sense of "not being enough" led him to seek out extreme and transformative training. He has been facilitating growth spaces since 2017 and learned Somatic Meditation in Northern Thailand.

Jonathan Bluks

Jonathan has been on a journey of personal and spiritual growth for his adult life, leading him to explore several spiritual paths and growth modalities. He was introduced to Circling and Authentic Relating in 2023 through Garrett Rokosh, founder of Circling Canada. Jonathan has attended several intensive Circling retreats as both a participant and support facilitator, ART Level 1, Online Circles with The Circling Institute, and AR Trainings for Business Leaders offered by Garrett, and is currently training as an unfoldment coach with Aletheia Coaching. He has found learning to communicate more directly and from the present moment profoundly energizing and connecting. Jonathan's passion is to create community by bringing people together and creating a brave space for people to explore and express who they truly are. This has led him to initiate a Circling community here in Vancouver.

Testimonials

"Jase is one of those rare and remarkable individuals whose very presence makes you better. I’ve had the privilege of being in a group with him, where I’ve witnessed his powerful leadership, deep mentorship, and unwavering dedication to helping others live lives far beyond the ordinary." - Harry Isaac

"Working with Jase felt like a safe return to myself. He held space with so much presence, kindness, and spiritual wisdom. I never felt judged—only gently guided. He asked the kind of questions that didn’t just scratch the surface, but helped them uncover what was truly going on inside. Each session felt grounded, intentional, and deeply healing." - Meigh B

"Jase has impacted my life more than he probably even realizes. My time with him, facilitating a group I was a member of, initiated the greatest time of growth in my life. He weilds both compassion and directness very skillfully. Both things that I needed to achieve that growth." - LeRoy Gordon
