Join Wizard Staffing Co. for an afternoon of Indie roleplaying games with our friends at Half Acre Beer Co.! We're running FIVE different RPGs for you to choose from:
, the perennial favorite since 1974. We will be running 5th Edition at this event! We'll provide pregenerated characters for you to use!
is what an old-school fantasy adventure game would look like after being redesigned with 50 years of innovation. Shadowdark is fast, familiar, intuitive, and deadly. It’s built for sword-and-sorcery adventures where fell monsters slither in darkness and ancient gems glint upon forgotten thrones, waiting to be discovered.
is a rules-light game for exploring (surprise) the theme of dread. Instead of dice, it uses a Jenga set to determine the outcome of difficult actions!
is a one-page roleplaying game where you you are a criminal bear with two stats: CRIMINAL and BEAR. Easy to learn and fun to play!
Players assume the role of immortal beings cursed with an unquenchable thirst for blood and vulnerability to sunlight—forever bound to their animal urges of hunger, fear and rage. It is a game of personal horror, as the characters are continually forced to walk a moral tightrope between their need to survive and the horrific means by which they ensure it.
No experience necessary!
Our Dungeon Masters will teach and guide throughout the session, so this opportunity is great for beginners and veterans alike.
