Learn from a Japanese Rope Master – Beginner Friendly, Couple FocusedFor one weekend only, Bound Studio is hosting Hajime Kinoko, one of the most influential shibari artists in the world. This 6-hour beginner workshop is your chance to experience Japanese rope directly from the source in an intimate, small-group setting.
Price is PER COUPLE. If you require a shibari model, we will provide one. please let us know in advance.
This is not a typical Bound Studio class. You are getting:
• Direct instruction from a world-renowned Japanese rope master in a room capped at only 16 couples
• Hands-on coaching and demonstrations you would normally have to travel to Japan to experience
• Additional on-the-floor support from experienced instructors to guide your learning and safety
✅ 2 tickets to one of Hajime Kinoko’s performance nights (Friday or Saturday), included with your workshop
This workshop is designed for curious couples and new practitioners who want a strong, artistic foundation in floor-based shibari—focusing on clear technique, safety, communication, and flow.
You do not need suspension experience.
You do not need to “be good at rope.”
You just need an open mind and a willing partner.
⦿ What You’ll Learn
This class follows Hajime Kinoko’s structured teaching system, progressing from foundational understanding into practical application:

⦿ What Makes This Different
Hajime Kinoko’s teaching emphasizes precision, structure, and visual clarity. You won’t just learn how to tie—you’ll learn how to move with rope in a way that feels intentional, efficient, and refined.
This is a rare opportunity to study a codified system directly from its source, with hands-on guidance throughout the day in a focused, supportive environment.
