The Haitian Heritage Museum is kicking off Haitian Heritage Month on Friday April 29 6:30pm to 9:30pm, at the Haitian Heritage Museum. Come view the Toussaint Louverture Re boot Exhibition, A Man, A Destiny, A History and learn about the historical larger than life figure that had an impact in world history. Celebrate, with a purpose as there will be a collection of medical equipment being collected for the Hospital Justinien du Cap Haitien by Groupe De Development du Nord (North Haiti Development Group). For Haitians by Haitians to support our brothers and sisters of Haiti to receive basic medical services. Please check our website for the list of events taking place virtually and live during the entire Month of May.

Founded in 2004 to commemorate Haiti’s Bicentennial, the Haitian Heritage Museum (HHM) is a 501c3 organization that is committed to highlighting and preserving Haiti’s rich culture and heritage globally. Our goal is to provide a cultural Mecca for Little Haiti where individuals outside of our community and within our community boundaries can come to enjoy beautiful Haitian art, historic artifacts, ethnic sounds of Haitian music, view Haitian films and enjoy a collection of Haitian literary works.
About Haitian Heritage Month
Haitian Heritage Month is a nationally recognized month and an opportunity for individuals including Haitians and lovers of the Haitian culture to celebrate the rich culture, distinctive art, delicious food and learn the traditions of Haiti and its people. The celebration is an expansion of the Haitian Flag Day on May 18th, a major patriotic day celebration in Haiti and the Diaspora created to encourage patriotism.
