For the very first time, the renowned Haitian dancer and singer, Riva Nyri Precil, will be offering an immersive workshop in London on traditional Haitian folk dance and song. This immersive experience follows London's inaugural Fet Gede event, scheduled for November 4th at the vibrant Studio Z. ABOUT RIVA NYRI PRECIL

Born in Brooklyn, Riva Nyri Precil grew up in Haiti where she was exposed to and studied under many of the great masters of Haiti's cultural and artistic scene.

Riva is a prominent performer and has performed at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Carifesta XII hosted in Haiti, and the Haitian Flag Day Celebration at Brooklyn's Borough Hall. Her debut solo album in Creole, "Perle De Culture," is a fusion of traditional Haitian songs, soul, African tones, and jazz elements and was released in March 2015.
