HAIL SATIRE! is an all day festival on Saturday, October 5th celebrating music that’s fun, absurd, and satirical featuring 9 artists, performing at The Coral Snake’s indoor stage from 3 pm until close, including Adult Rodeo, Attic Ted, Austin Lounge Lizards, Cave Bees (New Zealand), Pataphysics, The Peenbeets, The Ron Titter Band, Sexy Finger Champs, and St. Inky with wickedly satirical interstitials by AUNT-J(DJ) as well as a few surprises. Weird band ephemera/merch swap meet and Greenheart Graphics is cooking up something special. Come early for a pre-show panel discussion brunch at Lou’s Austin on Cesar Chavez from 1-2:30 and there’s a pre-festival VIP screening at Blue Starlite Drive-In commemorating the 50th anniversary of Blazing Saddles and Monty Python’s Flying Circus the evening prior for a separate ticket price.
