About this Event
Every year, Spark Newton shares the joy of poetry throughout the city with Haiku Newton, a public art initiative. Join us as we honor this year’s winning poets with a special community reading.
Tiny poems, big feeling.
Celebrate the ancient Japanese art of haiku with an evening of creativity, reflection, and connection. Hear the voices behind the poems that appear on decorative lawn signs across Newton—capturing moments of wonder, transition, and everyday beauty.
Haiku Newton is a Spark Newton signature event and part of the Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts, in collaboration with the City of Newton.
Free and open to all - we ask that you please register.
All ages are welcome to listen, applaud, and be inspired.
