About this Event
The Hackers Guild Radio Club Meetup is an open session dedicated to the exploration and practice of radio in all its forms.
This event is designed as a collaborative laboratory rather than a formal meeting. Participants are invited to bring equipment and actively engage in experimentation. Radios may be tuned across the bands, SDR waterfalls examined in real time, antennas evaluated, and digital modes explored. Members often share builds, compare setups, and work through technical challenges together.
While amateur radio remains a central theme, the scope is intentionally broad. SDR experimentation, RF theory, spectrum monitoring, embedded radio projects, and cybersecurity-oriented signal analysis all fit naturally within the session. If it involves transmitting, receiving, modulating, decoding, or analyzing RF energy, it has a place at the table.
Newcomers will find experienced operators willing to explain concepts and demonstrate equipment. Experienced members will find an environment that supports deeper technical discussion and experimentation.
The Radio Club Meetup exists to foster hands-on competence, collaborative learning, and a disciplined but open exploration of radio technology.
