HackAI: Querying LLM APIs and prompt design

This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to querying large language models (LLMs) through their APIs, enabling efficient analysis of large datasets. This workshop will assume some familiarity with Python, to the level addressed in our Introduction to Python workshop.

Attendees will be sent a set of learning materials covering the following topics:

• What is an LLM API?
• Configuring an API key
• Using APIs to query LLMs
• Prompt design recommendations for common applications
• Choosing the right LLM parameters
