IMPORTANT PROCESS NOTICE:The homeowner application process is completed ONLINE. Please do not come to the office to begin or submit an application. All steps, forms, and instructions are available digitally through our website.
This is the starting point.
Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity is currently accepting homeowner pre-applications. All applicants begin with the pre-application.
If you’ve been wondering whether homeownership through Habitat might be possible for you, this is where eligibility is reviewed, income guidelines are considered, and next steps are explained.
There is no obligation at this stage.
The pre-application exists to help determine eligibility before moving forward.
A Quick Note About the Pre-Application:
We ask applicants to be as accurate and complete as possible when filling out the pre-application. The information provided helps determine eligibility and keeps the process fair for everyone. There is no expectation of perfection, just honesty.
CREDIT INFORMATION:
As part of the process, applicants complete a self-reported credit pull.
This does not affect your credit score.
It is used only to help determine eligibility and readiness for the next stage.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT:
Applicants who are approved to move forward will be notified by mail with information about next steps in the homeownership process.
HOW THE APPLICATION PROCESS WORKS:
STEP 1: PREPARE
Before starting your application, please gather the required documents. All documents are submitted online.

Identification required for household members age 18 or older:
State ID or Driver’s License
Social Security Card
Birth Certificate or Permanent Residency Card
STEP 2: APPLY
Once your documents are ready, download and complete the Homeownership Program Application online.

Applications are not considered complete until all required documents have been received.
