Open Day: Ha’Aruga’s Hands-On Film Program 🎥Friday, May 15 | 14:00–15:30

Ha’Aruga’s English-language film program is an intimate, hands-on framework designed especially for English-speaking creators in Israel who want to study filmmaking seriously and start making their own films.
Over 8 months in Tel Aviv, students explore writing, directing, cinematography, editing, and real production work - while developing their own cinematic voice in a small creative group.
Throughout the year, each student creates two short films, develops an additional screenplay, takes part in classmates’ productions, and receives personal guidance from working filmmakers and film professionals.
On Friday, May 15, we’re opening the doors for an in-person Open Day.
Come meet the team, hear how the year is structured, watch a short film by a Ha’Aruga graduate that was screened at festivals, ask questions, and get a feeling for the place, the group, and the kind of work that happens here.
The next English-language program begins in October 2026.
