That’s how Neonsense describes himself as an artist. As an up-and coming DJ and Dubstep producer based out of Dayton, OH, Neonsense is looking to carve his way into the music industry this upcoming summer. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections and original productions are his own therapy.
Neonsense fell in love with dubstep and bass music back in 2011 while attending a weekly local EDM event. Ever since he fell in love with the idea of DJing professionally , and is now in the process of turning that dream into a reality.
Today, this idea translates into his sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, head-banging basslines, and catchy vocal hooks, all on top of a high-energy dance beat.
“For me, it’s all about the mood, and a deep, high-energy, hypnotic groove…playing those tracks that get you out of your seat, tapping your feet, and nodding your head without even realizing it. My main focus is sharing positivity and bringing people together from all walks of life who share a common passion of loving music and dancing.”

Growing up as a Deadhead, he has developed a very eclectic and diverse love for all music and has found a way to encompass all music together under the beat of electronic music. His sets are sure to not only have you dancing, but singing along to tracks that you know all the words to. Destined to spread love through music and the scene, the Dirty Hippie will take your soul on a journey

I go by the name 1avU, representing "One of You," as I've been a fan of EDM for a long time and truly understand the crowd's energy. My journey began with a fascination for transitioning between tracks, and I always dreamed of DJing myself. I also started exploring music production, eager to create my own tracks. I began my path in Dayton, Ohio, playing at Open Decks, where I met incredible people who made my DJ journey more rewarding than words can express. In my first year, I played nearly 20 shows and have since performed countless times across Ohio.
As a versatile DJ, I pride myself on adapting to any genre depending on the venue and vibe. I’m always committed to delivering the best experience in every set, guiding the crowd through a musical journey. My go-to genres are tech house, bass house, and drum & bass, but I also have a deep appreciation for Afro house and techno. My sets are always unique, high-energy, and full of surprises. I'm never afraid to experiment with different transition techniques or explore new genres that I’ve never played before. I constantly challenge myself to improve and evolve every day.
As I continue to explore new opportunities, I'm eager to connect with like-minded individuals and expand my reach. I can't wait to create more connections that will help me get closer to the place I envision for myself in this journey.

Jason Johnson,aka.Jaysoul grew up in NewEngland in the hay day of the electronic music scene.Watching some of the grandparents of the scene and how it was properly done.(A Book Called Galanta,K.C and the Sunrise Gang,Primary and The Warped Crew)He's been playing records for 30 years plus,learning the craft from some of the greats.Influenced deeply by deep disco house and acid traxx his choice in music resonates his past! From playing small house partys back in New England to the local circuit in the Midwest with crews like(Downlow,DarkAlley,Groovehaus,.:home:.)the experience in undoubted! The Midwest is where Jaysoul released his first full length album Spiritual Elevation ,this was a co-production with friend Mr.Smith. As one of the founding members of Frameshft Recordings(00'-03') in Cleveland Ohio he is well versed in audio production. Austin,Texas is where Jaysoul fell smack dab in the middle of one of the most powerful music scenes in the country, revitalizing his music and his life in general. This is where Jaysoul found his footing in the house scene and soon made a name for himself. This is also where a long time peer and collegue Adam Warped had relocated. And after a very short discussion Adam asked him to co found Whiskey Pickle Records with him.The winds of change has brought Jaysoul back to Cleveland as of 2011. Jaysoul regained his momentum with long time friends and brothers Eric Davenport, Andre Leone and Steve Cinch(Sleepy C) and .:home:. was borne!After .:home:. had ran its course. Many one off's transpired,that were legendary as well as a residency at Thoroughly Raw (one of the longest running house weekly's in Ohio!! In early 2016 Jay was asked by then head boss at Groovehaus to come on board as a consultant and dj. They threw some of the headest house monthly's to date in Cleveland. Bringing topself talents like Todd Edwards,DJ Dan,Andrew Emil,Scott Diaz, Jask, and many more. Jaysoul is currently part of Henchman3 Productions as a dj and partner as well as being one of the founding members of Grooved Pavement Productions which is a trifecta of LONG time friends Jamie Lyn and Eric Davenport(Eric D) and Jaysoul! Whiskey Pickle Records is an amazing powerhouse in the leftfeild/nudisco/house category,doing better than Adam or Jay could have ever imagined.Artists on the lable include the likes of The Hardkiss Brothers,James Curd,Jason Merle,P-Rez,Blue Soul,Chicken Lips and so many more that set the label apart from the rest! Jaysoul is showing no signs of slowing down,his vibe is infectious and his sets are a breath of fresh air everytime!
