About this Event
How I Learned to Drive, by Paula Vogel, is Lil' Bit's recountance of her childhood and its everlasting effect. Directed by Adrienne Oehlers, this Pulitzer-Prize winning play tells the story of one woman’s attempt to revisit her difficult childhood—one marred by emotional manipulation and sexual abuse at the hands of her uncle—and reclaim control of her own narrative. It is a fearless and powerful exploration of a difficult subject told with compassion, humor, and wit. How I Learned to Drive takes us on a journey, reminding us that it is never too late to take the wheel of our own lives.
This play contains depictions of sexual assault, incest, and pedophilia. There will be resources provided by Project Woman at each performance.
There is accessible entry and seating in the theatre. For any other concerns, please check the FAQs or contact [email protected] (or poindextera@wittenberg).
