Each month this fall, we’re bringing a hands-on adult field trip to Gypsy Soul: a market for wonderlust in Lillington, NC. Gather your friends, sip and snack while exploring the magic of nature through art and science.

Halloween season is the perfect time to meet one of nature’s most fascinating creatures—bats! Learn about echolocation and flight, then try your hand at creative, bat-inspired art projects. With a wine tasting at the table and spooky season vibes in the air, this afternoon promises to be equal parts science, creativity, and fun.
? November 1 – Kitchen Herb Garden
Bring fresh flavor to your home cooking! In this workshop, you’ll discover how to grow and use your own herbs year-round. From basil to rosemary, we’ll cover planting tips, care techniques, and fun ways to incorporate herbs into your kitchen routine. Everyone leaves with a mini garden to keep the flavors growing.
? December 5 – Gyotaku: Tropical & Exotic Fish Printing
End the year with a splash of creativity! Gyotaku is the traditional Japanese art of fish printing, and in this session, we’ll use vibrant block inks to capture the beauty of tropical and exotic species. This hands-on workshop blends history, art, and nature into a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake you’ll treasure.
