Joe Cirotti Trio, a well-oiled string band from the shadows of Northwest Jersey’s Appalachian ridge, fuses their multi-instrumentalist upbringings with a passion for the roots of American folk, jazz, country, and bluegrass. Their bond is rooted in proximity, strengthened by a blue-collar passion for picking, and buoyed by their shared propensity for roots music and whiskey.
Alex Radus is hailed as a “versatile crooner” and “skillful fretman”, but his songwriting takes center stage. John Gorka calls him a “remarkable artist…an excellent guitarist, songwriter and singer…worth going out of your way to hear”. Alex was selected as a 2024 Falcon Ridge Folk Fest Emerging Artist and voted a “Most Wanted” artist to return to the Main Stage in 2025.
New Jersey-based fiddler Daniella Fischetti has performed at some of the area's top venues and listening rooms, with acts ranging from gypsy jazz to bluegrass to rock. She studied at the Manhattan School of Music and is always on the lookout for new fiddle tunes to learn.
Known for their dynamic musicianship and clever lyrics, Santa Cruz, CA-based duo Poi Rogers create a wildly unique sound, with elements of western and gypsy swing, Americana, Hawaiian steel guitar and vivid storytelling. They won the 2018 and 2024 Ameripolitan Award for Western Swing Group, and performed at the 2024 Monterey Jazz Festival and are Sacramento Western Swing Hall of Fame inductees. Poi Rogers’ second album, Whirligig, is due out May 1st, 2026.
DANCING FAQ
Do I have to dance?
Nope - feel free to just come enjoy the music. But dancing is super fun, so...:)
I've never danced before, will that be a problem?
Not at all! Dancing is open to everyone, no matter your skill level. Our instructors will teach a one-hour intro to swing dance class from 7 - 8 pm, which will be the perfect foundation for a newbie dancer.
I'm an experienced dancer and don't need the class. Can I come just for the social dancing?
Of course. The class ends at 8pm, so join us any time after that to dance the night away!
Do you need a partner to participate?
No partner, no problem! Feel free to come solo, with a partner, or with friends. Dancing is a social event, which means partners rotate throughout the night. If you're nervous to ask someone to dance, our instructors are always open to dancing with you!
I'm coming with my partner. Do I have to switch dance partners?
While we encourage people to rotate partners, if you prefer to dance with someone you're comfortable with, you can absolutely stay with your partner.
